There's Elder Johnson in the truck pulling the trailer
May as well throw a football while we wait
for the tire to get fixed.

It was transfer week this past week so it was busy and hectic with new missionaries coming in on Wednesday, then transfers Thursday, and missionaries going home on Friday. I went on transfers and rode with Sister Braaten in the van and it was a long, long day, with Elder Johnson having another flat tire on the trailer. We didn't get home till 9:00 at night. Friday night I was so tired I slept for 11 hours. Wow, we have a funny life!
Little Transfer Miracle
All of the transfer stops are at stake centers except one, which is in a Sam's Club parking lot. It was freezing cold and raining all day long so standing outside for any length of time was torture. I was sitting inside one Stake Center and one of the missionaries started visiting with me. He was telling me he and his companion didn't know where they were staying and they didn't know how they were getting there, nor did they know how they would get in. They were going into an empty apartment so there was no companion to show them the way. After a little questioning I realized I knew exactly where they were staying and I HAPPENED to have a key to their apartment in my purse. I had put it there because I wanted to make some extra keys for the 4 missionaries that we previously planned to put in that apartment. I forgot to, so I still had the key in my purse. Miracle! So at the end of the day we took the elders to their apartment with their key furnished by me.
[Chris] This is only half the story. Before we could take them to their apartment we had to pick up a mattress at Walmart to deliver to some sisters who needed it (the sisters didn't live where we thought they did so we tooled around Bentonville a bit looking for the right place), get gas in the rented truck, and return the truck to U-Haul. Oh, and none of us had eaten all day so we also fed them. That's why we didn't get home until 9:00 PM.
SUNDAY
Today we went to Sacrament meeting in Granby, then drove to Monett, Aurora, and Cassville, all in Missouri. We visited the missionaries in each place for a few minutes and gave them some cookies. Actually, we missed the Aurora missionaries because we had to wait so long for a train, so we just left some cookies in their apartment. The leaves have finally started changing so it was an especially beautiful drive.
BENTONVILLE FARMERS MARKET
Saturday morning we went on a beautiful walk about 3 miles. We drove to a trailhead where we could walk to the town square and then go to the Farmer's Marker.

We went on a walk this afternoon (3.2 Miles).
The green spot is where we live. It's really pretty here.
