BACK TO REALITY

Boy, there is not much to write this week. Once Mary and her family left we just had to get back to work. So we really just worked long days trying to get everything current again.

We were so busy that we didn't even make our normal rounds at the zone conferences that were held this week. One of the things we needed to do was get a new apartment in Springdale. We had a lead on one and went to look. Since the zone conference was in Springdale that day we stopped by just for lunch. It was barbecue and it was delicious.

I had to show thee missionaries how to make a true ice cream sandwich. This is vanilla ice cream between to gigantic snickerdoodles.

Sister Johnson lost a bit of weight while struggling with gall bladder issues. So now she thinks she needs a new wardrobe. As you can imagine her choices of clothes are always bright and colorful. When she showed up to the office with a dress that matched the balls some missionaries bought to replace office chairs they just had to take a picture.
Isn't she about the cutest?

Yesterday we had a primary activity in our ward in Anderson, MO. They asked us to do music. So we went. It was Pizza and Scriptures. They had various stations for the kids to go to where someone dressed like a Book of Mormon person talked to them about their experiences.

This is Elder Palmar playing the role of Jacob and teaching about Jesus Christ. His companion is Elder Moea'i.
This is one member's representation of the Tree of Life.

So now we're back to work. We're expecting a bunch of new missionaries soon so we're looking for apartments. We also have a couple of apartment complexes near Bentonville where we have multiple sets of missionaries living. So they are not all living in their areas. This must be confusing to them because they can't seem to understand or figure out how to be obedient to the requirement that they basically stay in their areas. So we are trying to address this. It may involve finding some new apartments and moving some missionaries.

We still love it here. We love the weather. We love the people. We love the Gospel. We love the missionaries. Live is good.
